The Promise of Fall

posted on: Friday, August 30, 2013

We’ve been so busy at KILMERHANSEN with web projects that we’ve had no time to devote to our little website here. This year has shown a huge increase in business use of social media and we are working on practicing what we preach. That means more posts about our work here, what we are learning, what we are moving on from. I’ll be searching for time this late summer and fall to redesign the blog page. More attractive and modern, less scrolling. Fall means a lot of things to us as our favorite time of year. At KILMERHANSEN, it really means pumpkin spice lattes at our desks and less heat to keep us from getting the tough stuff done. I’m looking forward to it!

I’ll leave you with a logo we recently designed for a church. We’re almost finished with the website and some other marketing materials.

Grays Harbor Roller Derby Logo

posted on: Thursday, June 2, 2011

Grays Harbor Roller Derby has been newly founded and approached KILMERHANSEN about a logo to represent themselves. Based in a logging town, the woman wanted elements that reflected tools of the trade like axes and saw blades. They also needed to identify themselves as derby girls with either rollerskates or helmets. Through several revisions (one included a Lumber Jill!) the Grays Harbor Roller Derby logo was born. Sweet but tough, they are sure to make their mark (and maybe leave some marks!) in the derby world. Good luck ladies!!!

Bella Vista Photography specializes in real estate, architectural, and design-related photography. A line art, brush stroke combination of a camera and a home was created to show exactly what this company provides. A logo that can stand alone without text if needed and still capture the essence of the company.

New website completed!

We recently had the pleasure of working again with Kammie Lisenby of Simply Efficient, a home, office and life organizing company. Previously she had hired us to create a logo for the company and now she has hired us to complete the identity package. The new website can be found here.

It functions through WordPress, so she can easily edit content on her own but it looks like a regular website, not a blog.

We are eager to offer similar websites to clients so let us know if you’re interested!
